The Magic of Group

I’m reflecting on the mystery of our groups. I’ve only been with this group of women for the past 3 months, and yet there is already a sense of safety that’s been cultivated, I suspect through unconditional positive regard. What I mean by that is when you show up curiously with an open heart, intent on listening and understanding instead of judging someone’s story or trying to fix it, they are able to just look at their thoughts and feelings. They feel a sense of safety in feeling the feelings. They feel connected, then calmed and empowered. The power of connection is remarkable!
